Kusama: At the End of the Universe
Chris and I caught Kusama: At the End of the Universe last weekend at the MFAH by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The exhibit is comprised of two main installation pieces, Love is Calling and Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity, as well as a series of paintings and a big Kusama sculpture that looks like a pumpkin. Likely By SUP – SUP Yoga Teacher Training!
Last weekend was marked by an amazing time on the lake in SUP Yoga Teacher Training! Friday through Sunday, I joined 11 other yoga teachers for SUP yoga teacher training through the BIG SUP yoga program. It is so awesome to spent 3 days in the outdoors on the water, surrounded by other yogis with their varied yoga backgrounds. What’s SUP Yoga? DIY Silver-Plated Agate Coasters
Looking for a silver lining? These sleek silver-plated agate coasters are so easy to DIY. Agate slices come in so many beautiful colors. This marine tone works perfectly with our dining and living room, but turquoise and natural stone tones are also a lovely choice. Matagorda Surfing + Nothing But Blue Skies
These are a few more waves from Matagorda surfing in July. We were able to go out on the jetties and the beach! I caught a few really long waves, and of course Chris caught every one that came along. The waves were long and powerful, if choppy from an offshore wind. When I first went out, it was hard to keep the board straight. The current was coming from so many different directions. Guess who just bought a new ice cream machine? It’s me! A healthy alternative to regular ice cream, this paleo green tea ice cream recipe calls for coconut and almond milk, and is sweetened with honey.
