How to Find the Bluebird of Happiness on Your Shoulder
Last Saturday, I pulled myself out of bed even earlier than usual at 5am. Like most mornings, this one started with a little light yoga flow to find balance and center before making myself fluffy and pretty for the world. On a bit of a time crunch to make it to Austin for a blogger conference called Thrive, I headed out the door and started down I-10. Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Opening
I’m so grateful to have been able to attend the opening of the Civil Rights Museum in Mississippi last weekend, along with my family. Chris and I live in a house in Katy, TX just outside of Houston, but our lives are still in the city. So we commute, nbd. We can rarely convince our friends to make the long drive out to see us, except for the rare Renaissance Festival lover. Ren Fest is almost two hours away from Houston, or a mere 45 minutes from our house. This year, Omar and his new girlfriend Isabela made for most excellent company.…
