The waves were small today, but the weather made up for it. Lots of longboarders came out, but there wasn’t much more than shorebreak. Early on and mid day Chris and I paddled out and caught some really fun waves together. Same wave <3. Such Party.
Chris was walking all over his board, which I love because he puts his hands up like a bird. He also spent some time on the shorebreak, and I got a little closer while I could to fill the camera frame.
The shorebreak trick of the day that everyone was doing was to walk to the end of the board to get it to gain speed on the sloping break, then hop to the back to turn the board, then hop to the front again to get it to go faster.
There were these two adorable sisters surfing on a patterned board. They were building a sandcastle next to me a little earlier.
At the end of the day Chris and I went down to the paid beach for a bit. Not much wave, but great vibe.
