Here’s a pic Chris took of me in Surfside, and one I took of him in South Padre. I like this one because I look so determined. I hadn’t been surfing much when he took this picture. Every day is a different challenge. But I’m excited to finally be out there on a board.
The swimsuit is one of my favorites. It’s a reversible Volcom suit that makes me feel like a ladybug. There are racer stripes on the other side. Even though it’s a triangle sliding string, I’ve never had trouble with it staying in place in the strong current at Surfside. The bottoms are great side tie strings too. Very sturdy.
