“We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men — not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular.”

Happy Fourth!
We started the day off at my parents for a barbeque. My mom stuffed burgers with cheese, mushrooms and onions. My mom and dad just returned from a long fishing trip. He caught about 40 fish a day, so there were lots of photos to be shared. My dad has a thing for using phone apps to draw eyebrows on pictures of rainbow trout. My sister, her husband, and two of her kids came over too.
Then we went to the Gulf to go surfing. Surfside. Such a beautiful day. The swell was max 2.6 ft.
This lady was pretty good at surfing. Chris says she stands like italics.
At the end of the day the sky turned pink. This guy was surfing with the Hobi Cat.
This nice girl had unicorn hair and a purple swimsuit.
I made a friend.
At nightfall we drove down the beach to catch fireworks. This was by far the most spectacular fireworks display that I have ever seen. There were people shooting them off up and down the public beach for hours, nonstop.
