Paleo Witch Fingers Recipe for Halloween

    /

Are you a good witch, or are you a bad witch? These paleo witch fingers combine two of my favorite things: Halloween spirit and healthy protein snacks. One of the most fun things about Halloween is coming up with funny ways to make your snacks spooky. I love eating protein treats made from nuts and dates rather than brownies, for obvious reasons. The sugar in brownies makes me tired, cranky, and anxious. Protein treats do the opposite! They give me energy and help build muscle. With a little quick molding, you can make these protein balls into spooky witch fingers for a fun snack. Paleo Witch Fingers Ingredients 2 Pitted…

Spooky Paleo Apple Bites Recipe for Halloween

    /

This spooky paleo apple bites recipe filled with almond butter is not only healthy and fun, it’s also super easy to make. One of the best things about fall is that it’s apple season! AND with Halloween on the horizon, now is the perfect time for all of the spooktacular recipes you’ve been waiting to take a bite out of all year long. The most fun thing about Halloween is the pranks. I love fun, nice pranks. Pack spooky apple bites to add a special surprise to a potluck party or in a kid’s lunch. Surprise! Toothy apples. Get the word out. I can’t stop with the corny apple jokes.…

    Paleo Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

    /

Dairy-free, vegan-friendly, no added sugar, and this paleo strawberry ice cream is still delicious! I am starting to get some good legs on this new ice cream machine. This latest recipe for dairy-free strawberry ice cream really knocked it out of the park and is my new favorite. Chris came back for seconds 🙂 And I wanted to eat it all myself. Just kidding! Sharing is the fun part. It’s starting to get pretty hot in Houston already, so I’m so glad that I invested in this ice cream machine to help keep cool during the summer. Enjoy this strawberry ice cream on its own, or heap it over some…

    Yoga Paleo Birthday Cake

    /

Can you believe this amazing paleo birthday cake that my mother, sister, and niece made together for my birthday? How cool is this! I have never had a cake like this before in my life. Since I’m still eating healthy from the Whole 30 reset, I asked my mom to make a healthier birthday treat for our celebration. So she got together with my sister and her little daughter, and with the advice and guidance of the friends from her stitch group she was able to craft this amazing birthday cake.   Paleo Chocolate Cake by My Heart Beets Ingredients Chocolate Cake 1 cup almond flour ½ cup raw cacao…

10 Green Smoothies to Start Your Week

    /

Green smoothies are the best way to start the week of right. A healthy breakfast at the beginning of the day just makes Mondays a little bit better. All you need is a trip to the grocery store and a blender. This is my go-to favorite green smoothie recipe, and it’s great for muscle recovery: Most Delicious Green Smoothie Recipe Ingredients: Banana, mango, pineapple, spinach, chard, kale, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, chia seeds (optional). Instructions: Fill the blender (I use a Nutri-Bullet) with equal parts of the fruits and veggies. Add almond milk up to the baseline of the ingredients, and a tablespoon or two of chia seeds on top. Blend…
