When to Accessorize Flamingo

A flamingo print or flamingo pink is a fun way to welcome in Spring with playfulness and flair, and also a stylish way to bring a hint of tropical vibe with you when you’re not on the beach. Knowing when and where to best accessorize flamingo can take a little bit of finesse. On a casual day or in a work environment, a flamingo print or graphic on a striped shirt or structured piece is the way to go. For a professional business look, stick with flamingo pinks, elevated fabrics, or understated accessories to keep it classy. Of course, on the weekends when you actually do go to the beach or pool, don’t hesitate to go all out with cute flamingo print or graphic suits.

These prints are so fun. Wear them. Learn to accessorize flamingo. Live a little. 😉

This flamingo print idea was inspired by a recent run-in with a flock of flamingos. I love their graceful feathers and gangly elbows.

These flamingos were spotted in Palm Springs, but we do see wild flamingos en route to the beach on weekends. They like to mingle in the grassy marches and bay side of the islands. Sometimes, if you keep an eye out, you can spot a black flamingo every once in a while.

This is not a black flamingo, it’s a duck:
