It’s hard to believe this was my first time visiting New York since 2011. As great of a time as I had the last time I visited, I suppose what kept me away is that it’s too expensive or the timing wasn’t right. Since 2011 my life has taken an entirely different direction – I’m now a digital marketer, a yoga instructor, and live this weird commuter active lifestyle. Back then I was working in the contemporary arts, still pursuing art with a studio practice that did ok. In 2011 I spent five days exploring all of the different neighborhoods and art museums. A lot has changed, but some of my favorite photos of the city are still from this last trip.
