It’s been a little quiet on the blog this week – I’m in Costa Rica! What a dream. I’ve been surfing every day and exploring the town in Tamarindo, so there’s plenty to share when I’m back in the states and make the time for it. We took a direct Costa Rica flight into Liberia last Friday, and then drove to Witch’s Rock Surf Camp. Southwest Airlines added flights to Costa Rica from Houston not too long ago, so it was only a few hours to travel. It’s faster and more affordable for us to fly here than to California. Can you believe it? Plus, the water is warmer and we are in the same time zone.
Anyway, I made a little time here to edit some photos I took from the airplane. The colors and light are so breathtaking when you’re high up in the air. They could maybe be edited down a little bit, but if I’m going to over share this time, it’s ok for beauty or the sublime. Hope you enjoy a little peace on the way to Costa Rica!

I wish we could stay here forever, but we’ll have to return to our lives and work in Houston soon. Maybe we’ll come back? Or go on some other adventure. I haven’t decided yet, but I don’t think I’ve spent enough time here yet. There is still so much more to see and experience. I really need to travel more.

It looks like Southwest is adding more direct international flights, which are on special sometimes. They added one from Miami direct to Liberia that was on sale for $89 yesterday.
