Friday Finds
Where did the week go? Yet another one flew by, and now it’s almost November! Every day this week I put my head down into work and when I blinked the day was already over. I almost feel like I missed it, but I did get so, so much work done. Plus, this is the first weekend that I don’t have big plans in over a month. Looking forward to being able to do whatever I want to with my time this weekend. Ok, that probably means surfing Sunday. It looks like the wind may be good for a few hours and make the waves fun. DIY Pumpkin Centerpiece for Thanksgiving
A unique centerpiece vase is easier to make than you may think and this one looks so great for Thanksgiving. The fall wildflowers in season right now have so many lovely autumn colors that really stand out when highlighted in a fall pumpkin shape. I just love how this diy pumpkin centerpiece turned out! Chalk Paint Cat Pumpkin DIY
Halloween is here! Of course, I made a black cat pumpkin with chalk paint. This cat pumpkin is super easy to assemble and looks adorable. Chalk Paint Cat Pumpkin Materials 1 Large Pumpkin 1 Small Pie Pumpkin 2 Tangerines 1 Cucumber 1 Piece of Black Felt Chalk Paint 1 Tea Light 8 Sewing Pins You’ll also need a paring knife to carve the pumpkin, of course, and a paintbrush to paint with. Chalk Paint Cat Pumpkin Directions First, wash all of the produce.…

DIY Cat Ears
Does anyone else see cat ears everywhere these days? They are so cute! These diy cat ears were made with a beautiful eyelash lace over a stretchy knit, but you could easily make them with or without the underlayer. They would also look really cute with a different kind of lace underneath so the light could shine through the ears. This is officially my favorite DIY to date! I’d like to make multiple versions – even to leave off the lace and embellish the frame with pearls, rhinestones or flowers for a playful everyday (night) look. DIY Cat Ears Materials 2 8-Inch Lengths of Floral Wire (Jewelry or industrial wire…

Bewitched: Black Dress, Black Cat
Can you keep a secret? I know he can. This black dress is everything. It has a dramatic keyhole front, bell sleeves, and a criss-cross corset style back that laces down and loops into the base of the skirt. The ties leave a long tasseled bow that drapes down to the bottom of the maxi-length skirt. This is oneĀ of those numbers that I wish I could wear every day, although it’s not the most practical. But who needs practical when you have a bit of witchy magic in a criss-cross back like this one? Do you know what else is everything? This black cat. How cute is that face? Liam…
