Hard week! It’s been stressful for everyone. Does anyone else worry what other newsworthy events you are missing while Facebook feeds are flooded with one alarming political position after the other and subsequent backlash? To step away from it a little, try taking a walk. You could even listen to “A Walk” by Tycho, one of the best ways to de-stress and clear your mind. Or try to take a walk without even stepping outside the house. Wander after your inspiration. Here’s a mood board of artists and images I’ve been thinking about and crushing on this week on Pinterest. Join me down the rabbit hole. All links are art,…

Current Mood Board: May I Have This Dance?
Last weekend an arctic blast swept across the country, bringing with it colder weather than we’ve seen in Texas for a while. The prints came in looking beautiful, and at 5×5 with a white border they looked clean in a grid up on the wall. The photos I picked to print were from the frequent surf trips with Chris, which we started when we were dating. Seeing our history on the wall brightens my day. It’s so important to me to carry around a camera for this, to remember what happened and what it really looked like. There…

Photo Bomber Solutions
My latest favorite app is Touch Retouch. A lot of the time with iPhone photography, timing is everything. I snap pics when I don’t have my DSLR with me, but also when I don’t have enough time to grab it. When you’re trying to snag the moment, sometimes you just don’t have enough time to properly frame the photo or wait for extra people to move out of the background. Or maybe it’s a crowded day at the beach, or there is a lot of trash on the ground. Touch Retouch works wonders. I seriously can’t believe how well this thing works. Sometimes it even does a better job than…
