Photo Bomber Solutions

My latest favorite app is Touch Retouch. A lot of the time with iPhone photography, timing is everything. I snap pics when I don’t have my DSLR with me, but also when I don’t have enough time to grab it. When you’re trying to snag the moment, sometimes you just don’t have enough time to properly frame the photo or wait for extra people to move out of the background. Or maybe it’s a crowded day at the beach, or there is a lot of trash on the ground.

Touch Retouch works wonders. I seriously can’t believe how well this thing works. Sometimes it even does a better job than my Lightroom spot removal tool.

How to Use Touch Retouch:

1. Open up the mediocre photo
2. Select a brush size
3. Draw a mask with your finger over the part of the photo that you want to take out
4. Press the play button, and the photo becomes magically fixed!

Here’s a good tip to help photos be properly edited: make sure that you are editing a spot on a swath of texture. Sand and water work well, but the app can’t draw lines that never existed.
