I love my scarf with this red shift dress, since the wine color of the dress pulls out the red accent in the scarf. A nude shift dress or jeans would also be killer with this scarf. These over the knee boots with low heels and a space at the back of the knee are also so great for walking in.<\/p>\n

Anyway, back to the scarf. Try wearing it belted! When I first saw this style, I thought I wouldn’t like it. Just try it. It’s super comfortable and warm, and actually looks pretty great. The scarf drapes over your shoulders and down the front like a shawl. If the belting is awkward, you can always pin or toss one end over your shoulder for more of a traditional shawl look.<\/p>\n

Try wearing your blanket scarf as a vest. Pin or tie two ends together with the center of the scarf end. I used a safety pin to hold my wool scarf, but I do this with a little knot in lighter weight scarves. For me, this style affords the greatest ease of movement.
