Guess who played a show last weekend? Chris Landry! He was drumming with Hescher at White Oak Music Hall.
Ok, I promise I’m not going to turn this blog into a review of every single one of Chris’s shows. The pictures turned out pretty cool though, so I wanted to put them up somewhere. I’m not going to apologize for the shitty iPhone quality. I’m not sorry. Sometimes the best camera is the one you have on you.
The lead singer Cory Sinclair is super dramatic, so he makes really interesting shapes when he gets into performing.
Chris’s kit was much closer to me this time. I hardly got any shots of him at the last show at The Nightingale, because he was way up on a loft above the crowd. His head just peeked through.
Tom Bowman always looks good on the guitar, of course. He’s great company, too.
Hescher played with Mobley from Austin and George West from Houston. They’re both interesting musicians, if you want to check out their sounds on the Spotify playlist below.
